We are delighted and privileged to welcome you to our website. We are a happy learning community near the centre of Leicester, in the Highfields area. The positive, warm, welcoming atmosphere, support from the community and constant drive for improvement makes Highfields Primary School a very special place.
Your child will be at the center of everything we do. Our team of staff are skilled, hardworking, and committed to developing all of your child, not just their academic ability.
Our children develop high expectations of themselves to become responsible citizens who have respect for others. There is a continuous focus on developing confidence, resilience, and independence so that children leave Highfields ready to face the challenges that life brings.
All our decisions, from the strategic to teaching and learning, are made to fulfil our vision to equip our children with the tools they need to prosper in life and succeed beyond the expected.
Throughout the website, you can find out more about our fantastic work and other useful information about our school.

We work hard, do not give up, put in full effort and have patience and stamina. We are self-motivated and have a growth mindset. We have a sense of pride and build self-esteem and confidence.
We respect ourselves and understand that we are free to do what is right. We are supportive, fully inclusive and respectful of others and their differences.
